Embedding library resources in Canvas: Alexander Street Press

Alexander Street Press Databases in Canvas

Embedding videos from Alexander Street Press databases is a bit different! You can add them to your Canvas course just as you would a journal article or link to a database OR you can embed them with the ASP player directly in your Canvas page, assignment, or quiz.

Locate the film you would like to use within the database. Then click on "Share" and then "Copy Embed Code".

Access your Canvas course page, assignment, or quiz to embed the film. Paste the code in your course from the edit mode - then click on the "Insert/Edit Media" button and paste the code from the database.
