I graduated from the University of Michigan with a masters in library science in 1974. I moved to Tampa to take a reference librarian position at the University of South Florida Tampa Library - and in typical "U Stay Forever" fashion - stayed at USF until retiring with emerita status in 2009.
In 1996, while I was at USF, I started teaching online courses for the library school. I enjoy teaching online courses and currently teach a course or two as an adjunct professor at University of Maryland Global Campus.
After retiring, I missed working in a library and happily have a librarian position at Hillsborough Community College Brandon campus.
I also volunteer as a librarian for the University of the People. UoPeople is an accredited, global, very low-cost, online university (2010 to date).
Additional degrees: I have an undergraduate degree with a major in painting from the University of Michigan and a masters degree with a major in painting from University of South Florida
