3D Printing Policy:
Students may submit a request for items to be printed on the Makerbot 3D printer at the Brandon Library!
Currently there is no charge for printing, but requests must meet the following requirements:
- Files must be submitted to to the library in .stl format
- 3D Printing form must be completed and approved prior to printing
- Jobs will not be printed that will take more than 2 hours to print
- No one will be permitted to use the library’s 3D printer to create material that is:
- Prohibited by local, state or federal law.
- A weapon, weapon parts, or replica thereof.
- Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the library environment.
- In violation of another’s intellectual property rights. For example, the printer will not be used to reproduce material subject to copyright, patent or trademark protection.
