About HCC District Libraries Services:

District Libraries Technical Services (DLTS) is a district wide unit responsible for the management, oversight, and coordination of the technical operations and college-wide services of the HCC Libraries. 

This department oversees HCC's five campus library collections through technical and automated service functions such as: 

  • developing procedures 
  • overseeing the selection of materials conducted by campuses 
  • system-wide acquisitions 
  • expenditures of library funds 
  • campus cataloging and processing 
  • Interlibrary Loan 
  • library contracts 
  • Library Automation functions 
  • statewide liaison for FALSC

  • Database/e-resource subscriptions for all five campus libraries, and working directly with all library vendors, are also managed by this unit. 

DLTS strives to provide timely acquisitions and distribution of our wealth of resources within established HCC budgetary parameters, guidelines, and contractual obligations.  Vendors with questions regarding HCC Libraries contracts, policies, and/or acquisitions are invited to contact 813-259-6058 for further information.
