Material from health sciences reference books and consumer health pamphlets, as well as magazine and refereed (peer-reviewed) journals. Includes alternative-health information. ***Tip*** If you're researching a psychological disorder and its treatment:
• Use the Search box. Type the name of the disorder and and limit to (click the boxes) "consumer health." This will bring up articles from health encyclopedias and professional health pamphlets. These materials provide *excellent* information about the disorder and treatment options. Looks like this.
• In a separate search...Use the Search box, type the name of the disorder, and limit to (click the boxes) "full-text articles" and "refereed publications" to find articles from peer-reviewed journals. Journal articles tend to be narrower in focus, often describing one or more specific studies, experiments or interventions. Looks like this.

If researching a fictional character or literary/cinematic work, type the name of the character or work in the first line, in "quote" marks, and in the second box, type the name of the disorder.
