Starting Jan 7, 2025, EBSCOhost, one of the primary research platforms for HCC Libraries, will get some exciting upgrades to enhance your research experience. Log in via the library website to explore the new ways you can refine searches, navigate and share results, access eBooks and more. Updated features include:

  • Simplified and clean branding that is easily recognizable
  • Intuitive limiters and facets to find specific resources with less hassle
  • My Dashboard: Log in to save articles, view search history, review checkouts and holds and organize resources by project

Due to Hurricane Milton, the last Hispanic Heritage Month event takes place on 11/6 at the Ybor library. 

Come hear about the Dr. Luz Lono Special Collection of Hispanic Heritage artwork, meet this year's winner, do a scavenger hunt and take home a free book!

EBSCO's polar literary research database, Literary Reference Plus, will be getting a major facelift. EBSCO has been implementing a transition to new interfaces, including the Explora interface for their "Reference" databases, such as the HCC Libraries subscription to Literary Reference Plus. This transition will take place in July 2024.
