Professional website for Jeremy Bullian, Librarian / Asst. Professor

radical militant librarian button (image from am a librarian at Hillsborough Community College. I received a Master of Library Science degree (MLS) in 1999 from the University of South Florida and briefly worked at the USF Tampa Campus library before coming to HCC Brandon Campus in 2001.

I have a strong interest in emerging technologies in librarianship but also more broadly in terms of how these new technologies affect us as individuals and as a society. I have done quite a lot of web-design for both the libraries and the College. In particular, I've maintained the HCC Libraries website since 2001 and the Brandon Campus site for over a decade. Along the way there have been many other web projects. I serve on numerous college committees as well as the faculty union council (FUSA). Sustainability is another interest of mine and in the past I have served as faculty advisor for the Brandon chapter of Students for the Environment club and served on the College's Sustainability Council. I'm also involved with professional organizations at the national and state levels. For more on my professional work, please see the curriculum vitae tab above.

I live in Tampa, FL with my family. See the "Writing" tab for info on my creative pursuits.
