Overcoming Adversity ScholarshipSCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in college, graduate school, or a GED holder who is about to attend college; they also must show good academic standing by holding a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The recipient of this scholarship will have demonstrated that although they have encountered hardship, they have persevered and committed themselves to becoming successful in all of their endeavors.
APPLICATION
To apply for this scholarship, please submit the following:
1 . An essay of 500-1000 words that describes how you overcame adversity, outlining a specific roadblock through which you fought and emerged victoriously.
2 . A professional resumé that lists your professional and academic experience.
3 . A unofficial transcript from your current school.
First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school.
High school students must also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university
