InterLibrary Loans
If HCC Dale Mabry Library doesn't have what you're looking for:

  1. Search All Florida College/University Libraries -- Choose your home institution and log in with your Borrower ID and PIN.
  2. If you're still not finding what you need:

Reciprocal Borrowing
With a current HCC ID/Library card, students & faculty will be allowed to check out books from USF or any other state university system library. 

Leisure Collections
The leisure collection is located just inside the main entrance across from the Reference Desk.

Reference Assistance
Librarians are available to assist with research help.

Reserve Materials
Faculty may reserve items for their classes at the circulation desk in Library. Reserve items may be used by students in the library only.

  Circulation

Checking Out Materials

  • You must present your HCC library card to check out materials.
  • Patrons are fully responsible for all materials borrowed with the card.
  • Circulating books may be renewed if no request has been made to borrow the book. You can check your library account online at My Account.
  • Overdue notices will be sent via HawkMail. You will be responsible for the cost of unreturned library materials.
  • Students who fail to return overdue materials will have a hold placed on their academic records for the full value of non-returned items
  • Reference Books may be used in the library only.
  • Items placed on reserve may be used in the library only.

The Library (DLRC) is a three-floor building, however only the second and third floors contain the resources and services available to users. All floors of the Library are accessible by elevators:

  • First floor elevator is located through the west entrance of the Library next to the Humanities (DHUM) building.
  • The elevator that takes you to the third floor is on the right upon entering the Library on the second floor.
