Use this guide to help locate reference sources for honors in action project

Welcome HCC PTK Plant City

HCC Plant City's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) can use this guide as a resource while working on the Honors In Action project.  The box below provides instruction on how to sign-in to the HCC Libraries Online system and the following pages explain how to locate authoritative, reliable information sources for your topic.  At any time while using this guide or during your research you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your campus librarian.

Logging into HCC Libraries

Two ways to Log Into HCC Libraries

Log into Canvas, select a Course you are registered for and look at the left side column.  Scan the list until you see:

Student ID Log In

Second Way to Log In

The second option to log into the Library's databases and access eBooks is to open Click on Library in the top Header under the HCC logo.

On the Home page for HCC Libraries, click on  "Log-in first for best results!".  You will be prompted to enter your Borrower ID and PIN/Password.

Your borrower ID is your 7-digit student ID number. The password should be the last 4 digits of your student ID number. If you experience any problems logging into the online catalog or electronic databases, please contact the library and we will do our best to assist you.
